In 2024, Örebro Municipality is adapting Östra Bangatan for Citylinjen and creating a new pedestrian and bicycle path to make it easier for Örebro residents to walk, cycle and take the bus. The diversion begins on February 6 and means that accessibility on Östra Bangatan will be affected from Vasagatan to the intersection at Östra Nobelgatan.

Regional traffic will be diverted, which means that no regional routes will operate at Resecentrum. New temporary stops for northbound regional traffic are located on Järnvägsgatan, Norrcity. City routes 5, 6 and 22 will have a temporary stop at Fredsgatan.

Bus stop Slottet will be a central point in the city center. USÖ, bus stop Södra Grev Rosengatan is still end station for most regional routes. Some buses pass Kulturkvarteret but do not stop for boarding and disembarking.

The temporary stops will be visible in Länstrafiken's app and on our website from February 6.

A general map of the diversions will be available on physical signs at Resecentrum and Slottet. The map is also available both as signs and on digital screens at the relevant stops.
