On 15 December 2024, we will be making changes to our regional bus services in the county. Kollektivtrafikmyndigheten decided on these changes on 7 December 2023, due to the economic situation in the Örebro County region.
Major changes in the county
We are implementing some major changes to our regional bus services in the county:
- Route 314 will have a new order of stops to serve the new tomato farm outside Frövi.
- Route 351: Minor adjustments will be made to route 351 to facilitate transfers.
- Route 502 will have adjusted weekend service to better align with route 500 from Värmland.
- Route 600: We are reducing the number of departures between Örebro - Fjugesta, including connections with Route 630 to and from Mullhyttan.
- For route 701, we are opening the stops Södermalmsplan, Gustavsviksbadet, and Gustavsviks Camping for boarding and alighting in both directions.
- Route 807 will be a new route. Route 825 between Örebro - Norra Bro - Almbro and Route 807 between Örebro - Pålsboda will be merged into route 807.
Tåg i Bergslagen are making minute adjustments to their timetables, but otherwise, they are not making any major changes. There may be railway works.
No more co-financing Värmlandsbanan
Due to cost reasons, we have ceased co-financing train services on the Värmlandsbanan. This means that our tickets will no longer be valid on Värmlandståg between Degerfors and Kristinehamn.
This applies to tickets that have geographic validity for:
- The whole county
- District F
- District A+F
- District D+F
- District E+F
Bus stops
With the timetable change in December, we will be adding some new bus stops.
Almbro RV51 bus stop will open in the direction of Örebro. It will be part of route 807.
Karlslunds Herrgård is a new bus stop that we are building on Grävevägen. There has previously been a bus stop with the same name, which was part of route 7, but it will be discontinued from the timetable change. Instead, you can travel to and from the new Karlslunds Herrgård bus stop on routes 520 and 590.
Södra Infartsleden bus stop will initially be part of route 506. We will evaluate how the stop should be used going forward. The stop is intended to facilitate commuting to Örebro and towns west and south of Örebro.
Tjärdalsvägen bus stop will be included in route 314. The stop will enable commuting to and from the tomato farm in Frövi.
The bus stops will be completed before the timetable change, but they will not be in use until December. This means there may be finished bus stops along the routes that the buses will not stop at before the timetable change.
