It is your permit for Transportation Service that regulates what applies to you. However, there are certain rules and routines that apply to all Transportation Service travellers.
-
Time interval for the trip
You can travel at the same times as scheduled public transport, i.e. bus and train. You can travel between 05.30 AM and 12.00 PM, Sunday to Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you can travel between 05.30 AM and 02.00 AM.
-
Pick up and drop off
When you are picked up, the driver will help you with any mobility aids and luggage. The driver will assist you from the outer gate to the vehicle. At the end of the journey, the driver helps you out of the vehicle and to the outer gate of the destination.
If the driver judges that it is not possible to drive all the way to the outer gate, the driver will follow you there both when picking up and dropping off.
-
Companion, fellow traveller and children
You can bring a companion and a fellow traveller on the trip. The companion travels at no extra cost. Your company gets on and off at the same addresses as you. As the companion must be helpful during the trip to cover your needs, the companion must be over 18 years old.
The fellow traveller pays a fee according to the travel service tariff. The fellow traveller gets on and off at the same addresses as you.
Own children (up to 20 years) can also accompany you free of charge as long as they (and any companions) can be accommodated in the same vehicle as you. If you are not the guardian of the child, you must be registered at the same address. Children get on and off at the same addresses as you.
-
Aids and luggage
You can bring two transport aids and two bags with you on the trip. This also applies to the companion and fellow traveller. The size of the service travel vehicle is adapted to your needs, not to that of the companion or fellow traveller.
-
Guide dog and pet
You can bring a guide, service, and signal dog or pet on the journey. You are responsible for ensuring that the animal can be transported in accordance with current legislation; in a cage or harness. The animal travels in the luggage compartment of the vehicle if possible.
-
Special service
If you are unable to complete your business trip without a special service, you can apply for it. It can be about front seat placement or direct travel. To apply for special service, you can go to 1177 and apply digitally or print out a form.
If you need carrying assistance because you are unable to move up a flight of stairs - contact the Transport Service Unit and we will help you.
-
When traveling with a wheelchair
If you ride seated in a wheelchair, you should mark attachment points on the wheelchair so that the driver knows where the straps should be attached. Check that your wheelchair is approved for the trip.
If you are traveling with an electric moped, you must move to a seat in the vehicle.
We will help you with your mobility aids and your luggage into the vehicle when we pick you up. We also help you out of the vehicle at the end of the journey, to the outer gate or similar.
-
Carpooling and pick-up time
All our Transportation Service journeys are planned to ensure as many people as possible are able to travel at the same time. You may therefore need to sometimes travel before or after your requested departure time.
When you book your journey, you can find out what time the vehicle is due to arrive. Depending on traffic conditions and vehicle availability, your pick-up could be up to
- 10 minutes later than the scheduled time if you are in a town
- 15 minutes later than the scheduled time if you are outside a town
If you need to be at your destination by a specific time, please notify us and book well in advance. Remember that your pick-up time is adapted so that we can ensure you arrive on time.
