Wadköping is known for its red wooden buildings, craft workshops, cobbled streets and courtyards. It is an area of preserved buildings dating back to the 16th century.
Wadköping is a lovely, cosy place to visit in Örebro in wintertime. You can stroll along Svartån river and meander through the lanes, or check out the various craft workshops and shops. Theatre performances and markets are held in Wadköping every year.
In the winter there are also Christmas markets and Christmas entertainment, including a visit from Santa Claus himself.
Closest bus stop: Slussgatan with route 22, or alternatively Wadköpingsvägen with route 9 or 22.
